Applications of BBa_K215107
This part generates the three proteins that make up the Type I secretion system from Erwinia chrysanthemi. This secretion system, which spans the cell wall, recognizes a specific secretion tag (see K215001) and secretes the tagged protein outside of the cell.

2009 University of Washington iGEM team preliminary data confirms that sequence is correct, but didn't see significant secretion of an example protein over control.
